I mentioned this presentation a few posts back. It's an examination of current qualitative research. I'm sure there were some great talking points during all the pictures, but read through the simple quotes and you'll get a very good idea of where they were going.
Pay attention at the end to the things that need to be done now to actually move towards change. It's worth it. And at the very least, to be able to describe to your team and to clients the function and limitations of research is important.
